The Saddest week of my life!

Well this was the middle of the week, but I hope everyone else had a good Valentines day, I however thought mine was going okay despite waking up to Orange Jello in my new carpet! I was not a happy camper with two little boys. And then to top all of that off i got the worse phone call of my life up to this point, they called to tell me my papa had passed away:( That just broke my heart. So we have been on the go this week, we had to do visitation on tuesday night and then we had the funeral on wed! The saddest saddest day i have ever had to face. I am hoping that all of my family will be okay and i know that hes in a better place it will just be hard at the holiday times, I am beginning to come to peace with it all, but its hard and i dont want it to be real anymore, I just want to be able to see him again, i have the pics and the memories and i will forver have them, i now have to open up my memories to my kids, they got to see him for a little bit of his life and although he has been sick for most of my life you wouldnt know it by the way he has always teased us kids and picked on us and joked around! he was very fun loving! My grandma is one very STRONG woman and i look up to her for that, i am not sure i could handle all she has in the past! I love you both mama and papa, and to you papa i will one day be your little girl again!

Well it seems the time has come for us to start the clean up! A week went by with alot of people out of power and water and many other things. I know for us personally we were part of the VERY FEW LUCKY ones that only lost power for a few hours. However my hubby's grandma was without from Tuesday to Saturday and she is 83! so we made her come stay with us for a few days and then she went to the brother-in-laws house! We well some of the kids went over to her house on Sunday and started the clean up, I will post some before and after pics at the end or the beginning wherever it decides to put them:) She has some very large trees in her yard and very big at that. The back yard was much worse than the front yard so we are still working on it and probably will be in the weeks to come. The kids finally got to return to school yesterday:) I think they were as happy about it as i was. It was also the 100th day of school for them. So they got do lots of fun activities i think. During the storm our roof started letting water leak in the closet by the front door. Water got all the way into the living room floor and covered about 3/4 of it. But on the good side we are now getting new carpet and we don't have to pay for it! Really excited about that one. We have lived in this same apartment now for 6 years, we moved in in November of 2002 and we don't plan on moving until we can build the house that we want! Hopefully within the next 5 years sometime. Have to, well need to get both of our vehicles paid for first! Okay well that's about all i have for today!

Okay so i am now in my third semester of college. Not to bad all and all, I try to do at least 3 courses and hope to eventually be up to 4 sometime soon. I took Cost Acct this semester and I have a big feeling it is going to be quite the hard class for me, I did okay in my other two acct classes but for some reason this one seems to be way more work, I also took analysis of excel which i seem to be liking so far, and then of course my beginning algebra, i hate math but unfortunately you have to take them with all of the degrees so, the fun has begun for me and i just hope that i do okay this semester and get all A's but i will take a B if need be.

Ahhh the joy of buying a new vehichle! Okay well its not sooo new but for us its new, my hubby decided that since his truck broke down on Sunday he would go out and find him a different vehicle. He was originally looking for something under $5000, yeah well he found one, a nice one but its about double the price, on the up side its an '06 Chevy Silverado, extended cab (the whole family can ride in it), has only 50000 miles and has had only one other owner, we saw the carfax and all was well with it, no problems were reported! Plus he can work on this one, I am a little worried about the payments on the thing but we will only be financing about 9600 so hopefully the payments will stay below 200.00 a month on it and then we will be putting our tax return towards paying it off! We are going to TRY and have it paid off before the end of the year for sure! I will eventually get a pic on here of it if i can remember! Hopefully they will let us refinance our HHR in there with it and make that payment lower as well and get rid of our OUTRAGEOUS intrest rate we are paying on it! well just wanted to let everyone know, so will keep you updated! Cross your fingers for us!:)

Its time to return to school! I think my children have had enough of each other for the past two and a half weeks. They have not had to spend that much time cooped up together in a long time. I am really not sure what i am going to do this summer. I do know that if it goes like the past few weeks i may just lose my mind:) On a happier note I think were gonna get a new truck! My hubby went today to look because his 86 toyota crapped out on him this past Sunday! We went to Fayetteville Auto Park and the dude let us drive off in a 2006 Chevy Silverado, we can actually all fit in it too. Thats a plus for us, i am not real sure how were going to like the payment but we do plan on putting our whole tax refund down on the loan, so that should help but he had to have something as i have to have the car to take the kids to school. Well not much else has happened, the kids and john return to school tomorrow and i get to start my online classes next week as the college is back in on the 12th, dont actually have to return to the school until friday the 16th for my algebra class, ahhh the glory in going to school. But i seem to enjoy it more now than i ever did, mostly cuz i get free time to myself....:) well just thought i would check in on the blog world so that i kept to my word and blog at least twice a week, well talk to all of you later in the week!

Okay so its a new year and a new start for many! I for one am so glad its finally here:) The kids had a blast and I well lets just say i made myself stay awake for the new year to get here. We didnt do anything to exciting, just hung out at with some family! I did however vow to not drink pop or soda as some may say for the year that was my major thing that i am giving up this year. I for one drink it way to often and our kids think its okay to drink so were going to be more of a water drinking family this year, I am also going to try to get back down to about 175lbs, I sooo want to be there again, i know for some that is still alot buy i am 6 feet tall and my hips have birthed 3 children so for me a size 12*14 would be awesome as i am in the plus size now:( I love taking pics so i am going to use my nice new camera that i got for xmas from my mommy(canon rebel xs) everyday for the next year and just see how many pics i can take of our kids and our everyday life, i have been telling myself i will blog more so that should probably be a good goal as well at least once or twice a week and not just monthly....lol I do love to read the blogs tho. i am not real sure as to how exciting my life is, its just me and the little one at home all day as the older two are in school! But i will have lots of pics to post i guess:) So on that note I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year and i will get to posting some pics!

He's almost 3! I cant believe it that my baby boy is almost 3! It seems like just the other day we were still in diapers and bottles and baby food, i miss it but i am certain that i like having 3 bigger children than i do the babies:). I think now we can enjoy our family time together a little more, dont have to worry about taking a diaper bag, formula, diapers bottles or any of that crap along anymore! I do know that he is starting to take on his VERY own personality that is mostly hateful for the time maybe that is a 3 year old stage! I hope it passes quickly! We had his party this past sunday on the 7th, only because his actual birthday is the 22nd and that is way to close to christmas and everyone in the families are busy by then! Back to School!

Well it seems that 5 days out of school can be very draining for one who normally only has one child with them during the day. I have been without the two older children during the day and for the last 5 days, well lets just say i am not ready for the xmas break or summer to get here. I have been so used to no fighting, no arguing and its been quite nice but then reality set in and i realized i had 3 hoodlems. We didnt really get to much done over the thanksgiving break but we did get to go south and see the family. That was very nice seeing as how we dont get to see them to often. I came down with some kind of sore throat on Thursday night that had me down til about Sunday evening, then it got a little better. We also got some of the kids xmas pics taken, just by us in our kitchen and i will post a few pics, Other than that school has resumed and we have about 3 weeks left and then they are out for about 2 1/2 weeks or so. I on the other hand only have 2 weeks of class left and i will be good until Jan. 12th and then the spring semester begins. OOOOO my how i long for that break from classes for me:)

well easton is now 5 this year so that means he can play tball. So back in May we enrolled him in it. He is one of, if not the youngest kid on his team, however he seems to be the same height as the rest of them. He LOVES to hit the ball and run the bases. When it comes to fielding, well hes not so hip on that part. I think he just gets bored. Normally hes in the outfield somewhere. He was on third base on his last game and did awesome. He got two boys out. We only have three games left but i am hoping that he will want to play again next year. I am not sure if he liked it enough or not. His team is the Scrappers, they use Minor League Ball team names here for the tball teams. I have a few pics and even some of him doing what he does best, playing in the dirt. LOL. hope you all enjoy

Well the kids had a good, okay great 4th, they got to spend it with their Aunts and Uncles in Midland. Loagin was the only one who was not really allowed to light anything as he is only 2. They stayed the night with their Grandma Tonya and went swimming the next day, I must also say that one of my Very Good Friends got married and on July 5th and i am so sorry that i missed her wedding. If certain things like gas and hotels werent so expensive i could have made it to see her on her big day. I am so bummed that i missed out on that and i so hope she will forgive me someday..:) Okay well here are some pics from the fourth.

well sorry it has been so long since i have written. We had been so busy with Addys school. She is now a 2nd grader and Easton is now a Kindergartener, they are both excited about next year. We were all just ready for summer break to begin i think. We now can focus on reading and trying to potty train Loagin. That is going to be the real trick for the summer. Lots of swimming at grandmas house planned for us as well. We got the call on Monday from Eastons Tball coach saying that he was placed on a team and that they will have their first practice sometime next week. We or I am really excited about that. So not to much else going on here,

Well thank goodness its almost friday. I cannot wait. Our week has not been such a good one. Our bank has had all of our accts screwed up and to top it off I hit a rock this morning in our car and it was not a little rock either. I was so mad. The lady in front of us actually hit it first and it flew into our path. I tried to miss it but instead i hit it, HARD! Luckily it did not do damage to the car, just a few scuffs underneath. well not much else to report. will have more after the weekend!!

Okay So it has been awhile since i have posted. We seem to have been quite busy around here lately!, and summer is not even here yet. We took the kids to Devils Den last weekend, it was sooo nice outside we just couldnt stand to stay home. We have been outside everyday this week playing. I cant believe how nice the weather has gotten but I LOVE IT!!! Loagin got a new Hot Wheels scooter so he was so excited about that. He loves riding them. We are trying ( that being the key word) to work on potty training him. He doesnt seem to be all that intrested in it yet! But we will work on that all summer long as well. On a different note, John and I had the final, "Do we want anymore children" talk and decided together that we are done. Three is enough plus we just bought a new car and it wont fit anymore people:)!!! But i am good with three. They are enough work to apply for about 6-7 ! Plus Easton will be in school so i will have more time to spend with just loagin. Havent really had just US time since he was born cuz easton was still little then. That will be nice. School Report. Well addy only has 5 more weeks left til summer and i only have 2 weeks left til i officially finish my first semester of college. I am so proud of myself. I have done and accomplished more in the last 16 weeks than i did right out of high school! And i got an A in one class and a B in the other. For me thats good!!! I am not sure what classes i wanna take in the fall but i have all summer to decide that. I am not going to take summer classes because i wanna be able to devote all my time to playing outside with the kids. Our goal is one hour of tv a day in the summer for the kids, maybe two if they watch during nap time only. We have to ween easton off of it. He is bad at night time and seeing as he will be starting school he will loose the tv privilege at night in his room. Well not much else to exciting has been happening around here. John just working long hours and fixing to take a week long trip to Kansas City in May, I am almost 27 and dont really feel like i am that old. Cant wait for summer and at the same time ready for Aug, we also have tball this summer so that should be fun! well i am off, talk to you all later

Well we did it, we made it to 5 years old today! Easton, our middle son is finally old enough to go to school. He turns 5 today. Doesnt seem like he should be that old. That must mean that somewhere down the line I got older:) I am not really sure how well I will do when he starts school in August, I have been home with him for the last 5 years and now he must leave me! I will be so sad and yet he will probably be so happy to get to go, however he has met the principal of the school twice now and both times he has told her HES NOT GOING TO SCHOOL!!! I hope hes not to disappointed when we ship him off...lol ! Well he had a great party and he got to go ice skating, the only down side was that his daddy had to work so he was unable to be at the party but we saved some cake for him and some presents for easton to open here at the house. So he still got to participate in it. Also John turned 34 on the 3rd of April. I just thought i was old:)

Okay so I had quite the fun weekend. Haven't had a girls weekend in along time. I along with 3 other girls from my graduating class made a trip to Maumelle. It was soooo fun. We went to the Bridal shower of another of our classmates and Jen was also there but she lives closer than the rest of us. I must say that Darla is one of the funnest people to be around along with my 4 other friends. To make it even more fun her sisters and her mother were there. Boy are they funny.:) I dont think i have seen them in about 5 years. I must say that i am looking forward to the wedding in July. I dont get to travel without my kids to often so when i do i can actually enjoy my time with the friends. I for one also enjoy the peace and quiet, i have three noisy kids so thats nice sometimes and for me it doesnt happen to oftet:) well i hope everyone else had a great weekend and also i hope everyone had a Happy ST. Okay so i forgot to tell everyone Happy Valentines Day in my other post. Hope everyone has a great day, I know i will. I get to be with my 3 rambunctious children and the man that made them possible, I love him so much for that, so much more than he can imagine. This is our 7th year togther. It hasnt been easy thus far but we have made it and well keep on making it. We still love each other like we did when we first met if not more now. So hope all of you enjoy the rest of your day.

So here are thirteen things i want to do this year, hopefully they will all get done, some are silly but i do have to do them with the kids.

Take the kids on a REAL (not branson or tulsa) VACATION.
Get a new MP3 player for me (preferably pink).
Lose about 75lbs before Christmas gets here.
Make sure my kids enjoy every day they live in our home!

Go to school this summer and fall and winter
turn 27 and forget that 30 is only 3 years away

Pass my classes this semester
Take a numerous amount of pictures of my children
Actually print some of the pictures off for our family
Enjoy life with the kiddos a little more

Okay well i have now been in school for about 3 going on 4 weeks. Its not as bad as i thought it would be, I am doing okay in my whole two classes I am taking this semester. I am in Accounting and Computers. I so far have an A in both classes and have great classmates in the computer class. Has only been going on 9 years since i have had to sit in a classroom with other students. Was weird at first but its getting easier to talk to them. I have to be in the room for 2hours and 45minutes and my accounting class is online so my classmates for that one are Easton and Loagin, they are pretty easy to get along with for the most part. :) Anyways I just thought i would let all of you know how it was going in case anyone cared. Its okay if you don't though gives you something to read about, when your bored. Okay well i will go now. Later

Cold weather and taxes

Well its that time of year again. Its cold outside and we have to file our taxes. Only this year I just pray that we dont have to pay in. John had about 4 months of Self-employment, i am hoping that wont hurt us when it comes to a refund or paying in. Surely well get a refund. I am praying my little heart out. I for one dont really care for this cold weather either. I prefer the 60-70's, at the coldest. Especially when it comes to the kids being out of school, seems to me that the boys are no problem until sis gets to stay home and pester them all day. She has been out since last Thursday on snow days. But they didnt play in the snow to much cuz Loagin has been sick and i really didnt want all of them sick. They did enjoy the time they got out there tho.:) It is now Saturday and it seems like the never-ending week. I am looking forward to the 68 degrees we are supposed to have on Monday. That will be so nice. Wish my husband would come home so he could fix the tv. I broke it and now we can not pick up any channels on it, and i would like to watch the commercials during the Superbowl on sunday. I watch part of the game as well but me, i mostly watch the commercials and the half-time show. We are not football crazy in our house. Seems to be more Baseball here. Well guess i will get just thought i would ramble for a bit, but dont really have anything important at the moment.

Well where to begin, lets see Monday was our last night with John. He had to do his first out of town traveling for his job. They had to go work ing Green Forrest which i think is about 1 hour 45 minutes or 2 Hours away. So the company put them up in a hotel all week. He has not been away from the kids like that for a long time. It has been nice getting to put them to bed though and not having to worry about them waking him up at night. However, he does get to come home tonight i think. They have to go back over there tomorrow but from what i understand they all need clean clothes so they must come back to their wives:) Or to the Magic Room as John calls it. The place where his close just seem to clean themselves. I think he likes to push my buttons, or maybe just not face the fact that if it werent for me he would be up a creek without a paddle.LOL:) Well Addy started back to school this week. Our first day back was Tuesday. She went yestarday to the eye doctor and got another exam. Still has to wear glasses but she got to pick out some new ones. When i get a pic i will post for all to see. I start school on Monday the 14th and i just hope its not to hard. I am taking 3 courses this semester and thankfully they all count for credit. I will eventually have to take some math ones that dont count, im al little dumb when it comes to the math. I am in English Comp I, Accounting I, and Intro to Computers. So i think i should do okay. I may have some issues with the accounting as i have not really had classes on that before. I am however really excited about it. I think John has gotten a little more excited for me as well. I just feel as i am finally doing something with my life productivly that can help our family out in the long run. I know that i LOVE being a stay at home mom, but I only have about 4 more years of that then all of our kids will be in school so for the next 4 years i guess i can take online and night classes to get the highest degree i can get in 4 years. Please pray for me cuz i may soooo need it.:) Well its getting to be around the 2oclock time so i better start getting things ready to go get Addy from school! Talk to you all later.

Its Finally Here, Its 2008

Well we made it. Its 2008 and were all still alive.:) I must say i was not sure i would even make it to the new year, I was ready to hit the bed about 10:00, but our family went to Johns bosses house for the ringing in of the new year. So about 11:40 we turned on Dick Clark and watched the countdown. I must say i really do not get that into it anymore. Addy and Easton watched the ball drop and Loagin well he fell asleep about 11:57 so he didnt make it. But that was okay by me. They were all gettin pretty cranky by the time midnight came around. But all in all 2007 was a great year f0r us. I am hoping that 2008 has a whole lot more in store. For me personally i would love to see about 65lbs of fat come off of my body and i have a few other resolutions that i would like to accomplish by the end of the year. Okay well we have officially kicked off our xmas season. We went to my Aunts and my moms last sunday and did the Christmas thing with them. The kids got some toys and some other cool items. I think Addys favorite is her Digital camera that Grandma Tonya got her. Eastons would have to be the Bumblebee Transformer and Loagin well he likes all of his especially his cars.:) Now that we have 2 of them out of the way we only have about 6 more to go to. We have Papa Garys on Friday and then my stepmoms mom on saturday. On Sunday we got to fort smith for my Grandmas and then back up here to Eureka Springs on sunday evening for Johns dads. On monday we go to Johns moms and then tuesday we do ours here at home and that will end our christmas travels. And man am i so ready. It just takes so much time and money to do all the traveling and then witht the 3 kids in the car well i can say i am soooooo glad that my sister let me borrow her dvd player for the car. Its a life saver.!!

Loagins 2nd Birthday Fiasco

Okay so we had Loagins 2nd birthday party this past Sunday!! He will be 2 on the 22nd of December. He had so much fun. He got lots of cars. Thats his most favorite thing to play with is Hot Wheels. So we know what hes getting for christmas as well. I cant grasp ahold of the fact that my baby is now almost two, but i am ready for the diapers to be gone and the crybabiness as well.:) He seems to be doing alot of that lately. I think between him and easton i am not sure who wants more attention. I think easton knows that he will have to go to school next year so hes trying to be the baby as much as he can. Well only 2 weeks til xmas and i seem to be a single parent these days. John has taken on working at night, and sometimes even during the day as well. His job has literally taken him all the time, but right now the money is much needed. I think sometime into the new year he may have the option to go to South Carolina to work for a week. That should be a good paycheck. But its not set in stone just yet. Hes just trying to make sure he gets enough sleep as it is right now. But well make it. The kids will miss him cuz they will be asleep when he gets home and on the days he works during the day hell be gone when they get up. Crazy. just plain craziness around here. Never seems to end though. We took easton past the school they will be going to next year. He seems to be getting a little excited but not like Addy was when she was going into Kindergarten. Some days he dont seem to even care. well i will go for now.

Well like most of you who have kids probably know. Mine are so ready for santa to come. Now they only have 22 more days. They keep changing their list of items for santa to bring and it seems that the $$$$ amount only seems to get bigger with each item. :) Of course.!! I myself am not such a big fan of the Holiday season. Its nice to get to see all the families and be with everyone but i know for us it breaks the bank. However to get to see the kids Happy at the end of the day is well worth it for me. I am just so ready for it to be the new year. I think we as a family here are going to try many new things in the new year. One for us may be NO TV. Our kids are so hooked on the TV its not even funny. I mean we have already done away with the cable so they dont have much, but when its on you cant seem to get them to help do anything and with easton starting school next year hes gonna have to learn he cant always have the tv with him. :( But i do know they will get lots and lots of movies for xmas so if they are good they can always watch them. well i will get for now. not much else to say.

Well its almost here. Its almost xmas. I must say this is not my favorite time of year. I for one do not like the cold weather. But i do like all the good food. Thats one of the perks of the Holiday season. We took our yearly trip to Tongaknoxie Kansas this past weekend. Ohh, what fun that was. Okay well not really. We stayed with Johns cousin and He and his wife have a little boy who is 5 and a little girl who will be 2 in january. So of course Tanner beat up Easton all weekend and Loagin picked on Reese all weekend. That made for some good crying, Other than that everything went really well. The kids didnt fight at all on the 4 hour drive up there nor did they on the way home. Maybe that was because we took a dvd player in the car with us so they could watch movies all the way there. :) it worked.! Now we just have to get ready for the nonstop xmas action that begins in two weeks. I think from there on out we have something somewhere. I believe this year i counted that we have about 7 or 8 christmas gatherings to attend. So our santa may not be bringing quite as much as our kids would like for him to but we discussed with the kids that santa also got us a new car this year so he wasnt going to be bringing as much. They are okay with that. I think they know they will get plenty of other toys and stuff from there grandparents. Also. john and i know that so we are not as worried about it either. My concern now is Loagins birthday 3 days before xmas, we have to have his party a few weeks in advance to make time for all the other plans that we have which kinda sucks for him. But we must have a party!! well i guess i had better get back to filling out my info for school, i am ready to go back but then again i am not. well see how it works. Hope all of you out there have a great Holiday Season and write more later.

Well lets see it has been what 8 years since i have been to school. I mean yeah i can do the basics read, write, math, english. etc. etc.. But when it comes to College Algebra I am soooo lost. I have been working on studying to take my Compass test at the end of this week and it seems that i will have to start in the basic courses of EVERYTHING. I had forgetten everything i ever knew about fractions. I know now tho. They let us download a program on our home computers called PLATO. Its basically a practice run of the compass test and i am getting better but man oh man did i forget alot of stuff. I mean i can do computers with my eyes closed because i have been working with them and on them since i got out of like the 7th grade but i didnt really have to use math to much when i was working, i mean the computer did all that for me. Anyway on a happier note. My kids went trick or treating door to door this year for the VERY FIRST time. We have never done that and they had a blast and they got enough candy to last until next halloween. i am sure i will have to throw most of it away cuz it wont get eaten. My son Loagin has started this tapping thing. He taps on your arm, leg. head whatever part of your body he can reach until you say WHAT@!!!!. and then he just points at something and laughs. it has become really annoying in the past couple weeks. He doesnt seem to be much of a talker. He can he just knows that it bothers us more if he taps. He and easton cant seem to control their anger towards each other anymore and they fight ALL the time now. I am not really sure what to do about that. Well i guess thats all for now, i better start studying again. Later

Home alone AGAIN!!:)

Home alone again. That seems to be the never ending story of my Tuesdays and Thursdays. John has decided that he would rather do Plumbing than Heating and Air. So now hes stuck going to school twice a week for 3 hours each night. I think by the time he gets home the boys are tired of being with me all day but dont worry boys only 3 more hours of mommy time and daddy will be back. They dont really see him to much it seems except on the weekend now. He works from about 7 to 3 and then comes home and sleeps. Wish i could just sleep when he came home. I know he thinks i dont do much around here all day, but let me tell you, if i DIDNT do anything he would sure know it. We probably have one of the cleanest more taken care of apts in our complex because i actually care what it looks like in here. I know its an apt. but we have lived her for going on 6 years so it has pretty much been our home the whole time weve been married. Our kids pray for the day we get a House and i long for that day to but right now my kids are at the stage where the seem to color on things they shouldnt and tear things up that they shouldnt so for now i think well stay just where were at. Anyways back to my original reason for venting. This school thing sucks. I know it will make him more money but we gotta do this for 3 years still and i would like to go back to school if at all possible. I know that if i do i could make more money in the long run when i decide to jump back out into the real world and work. I know that being a full time mom is work i have been one now for 4 years, but i long for the day i can actually talk to BIG PEOPLE as i call them. I have all my conversations with children all day long i know more about the cartoons on tv than one adult probably should and less about the real world.:) But i do get to spend Friday night out with my husband and NO KIDS so that should be fun, we have to go to our nieces wedding and i WILL not take my screaming hooligans with me. I am going to leave them with my stepmom so everyone should say a prayer for her.LOL Addy is coming up on the big 7th birthday this thursday so we get to look forward to that. She is pretty excited about it. Her party is not for a couple more weeks but well give her our presents now and then a few smaller items then. well i hope all of you out there are having a good week and i hope to hear more from you all soon. Oh thank goodness its friday. But once again were broke. Seems to me the more kids you have the less money you will always have. Toys Toys Toys is all they ever want and yet its so close to xmas that i hate to buy them toys but i hate not getting them something every now and then. But thankfully Halloween comes first. I am pretty sure were gonna have a Superman and a Supergirl. Not real sure what Loagins gonna be yet. I have a frog suit and a set of Doctor Green scrubs he could wear. I am not a very happy person to be around i guess you could say as the holidays seem to grow closer it just seems to be more of a headache than anything. So many people to see and such little time to do it all in. Oh and dont forget all the money we must spend on all the gifts. Hopefully santa will be generous to us this year. However addy did come home from school the other day claiming that she KNOWS who santa is, so i guess if she believes that John and I are santa he may not visit her. So i told her that and she said she knew that her friend was wrong and that she didnt believe her. LOL ... I think she caught on quickly to that one.:) well i guess i will quit ranting about how i dont like the holidays and get ready to go get addy from school.

Well like jen i got up as well to see the moon. I however did not make my kids get up, they would have whined more about having to wake up when it was dark than anything so i just let them sleep. I did take a pic to but my $500 camera is a big ol piece of crap when it comes to taking pics in the dark :( so i will post the pic that i got but you cant really tell that its a moon like jens. It just kinda looks like a big red spot on some black paper. hope everyone has a great week:)

FIRST DAY OF FIRST GRADE!!!

Well it has finally got here. The first day of school. We have been counting down the days since August the 1st. She is a big 1st grader this year. Her teachers name is Ms. Boles( sounds like bowls) and she has a couple of kids in her class that she had last year. She is at a brand new school this year The Willis D Shaw Elementary. We werent even sure they would be done working on it, so that they could open it. But they did thank goodness:) Seh came home yestarday and said they learned the meaning of the would fluency meaning all or most of the kids in her school speak fluen ENGLISH. :) (not spanish) thats why we chose this school. She has a spelling test of 8 words on fridays and every monday they will send home the DREADED HOMEWORK Folder and it has to all be done by Thursday and turned back in. She doesnt seem to mind the spelling part. Shes a pretty good speller. Her writing i think will be the hard part. But on a better note the boys seem to be so happy and calm now that things have gone back to normal with her back at school. Of course now easton wants to go to school but hes not sure he can go by himself he seems a little scared but Addy will be in the same hall way as him next year so that should help him ease into the whole Kindergarten thing very nicely. were working on all the things he needs to know And working on his attitude. he can be quite mean sometimes. Well not really much else to report. just thought i would let everyone know school was good so far,

Well we did it, we got our school shopping done for the year. New clothes, new shoes and all the school supplies one could need. Now if only it were the first day. However. we have to use my dads address for Addy to go to one of the good schools. Not really a bad thing except the hateful B**** at the school doesn't really like the fact that were doing that. So this year i had my stepmom go register addy for school. she told the lady that addy lived with her. so now addy has to stay the night with her grandparents four nights a week or they get fined $500.00 per person. They are making her sign an affidavit saying she stays there so were gonna let her. Eventually the Old Bat will get over it and she wont have to stay but we don't want her to have to lie and say she lives there if shes not. But however for Addy this is like heaven. She gets to go to a school with friends from last year and she gets to spend the nights with her grandma and papa. They will drop her off with us in the AM and pick her up in the evenings after work. So she will still be with us every day. and on the weekends. We chose this school not knowing that the hateful lady from her old school would be transferring there. And because the one where we live is ALL mexican and marshallese people. Really there are 2 full school buses that let off on our street and maybe white kids out of both buses, so not a whole lot of them at that school. My thoughts were there were alot of kids that i went to school with that lived with there grandparents and it was no big deal. I mean get over it they don't even have enough kids up here to fill up the school as it is anyway. but on a happier note only 5 more days. so were excited for the first grade and trying to get little brother ready for kindergarten next year, we have behavioral issues we have to work on with him or we may be in the principals office everyday next year. well hope all of you have a great week. later

Lets see only 12 more days and yay SCHOOL STARTS. That means only me and the boys at home. It may take me all year to get easton ready for school next year. Since addy has been home he has not been quite the nice little calm boy he is when she is at school. So we have alot to work on and get him ready for. But only 12 more days. I will just keep telling myself that. She is excited. I think shes ready to be a Big FIRST Grader. No more little kindergartener. Now come the days of HOMEWORK. she really has no clue what she has coming for her. I am hoping that the school i want to send her to ( the one with the majority of white children), no i am not racist i just dont understand how an english speaking teacher can teach all the kids if OVER half of the DO NOT speak ANY english. Any way the school is not even finished being built yet and they have so little time to do it. I will keep my fingers crossed. The only thing bad about the school is where its located, kinda out in the middle of a field in the middle of Nowhere. Its like the perfect place for some pshychotic person to hit up. Seems that up here they dont like the ones in the middle of town, but i know that she will be safe they are pretty good about not letting people past the office. and since its the first thing you see when you walk in the doors. well i guess thats all for now. nothing to exciting has happened around here today.

Well the hoolagins have returned!!! It is no longer peaceful in my home. I love it though. Seems to me that when they are gone yes it is quiet and yes i do love it but its just not right. Today our cousins from Kansas have come to town and are staying the weekend with us. They have a little boy that is 5, perfect for easton to play with and a little girl that is a month younger than loagin. They are good together as well. The kids are abesoulutley elated to have them here. They dont get to see them very often only like maybe twice a year so its good for them. We went to moms today and picked up the two older kids and went swimming with Tisha and Marissa They had so much fun today, I think we got to spend a total of about 3 hours with them today and it was great. Also john and i got our first big investment yestarday A NEW 2007 HHR LT!!!!! I am sooooooo excited about that. i love it already. we have been driving a piece of crap neon that was in good shape when we got it, but man has it had the miles put on it. it was fixin to hit 100,000 and it was running very sickly Although we have been together for 7 years now we are just now investing in a vehicle and it feels good. Neither of us have EVER had a new automobile. so this is a first for us both and were ecstatic about it. I just pray that it holds up like it should for us and our family cuz we needed it!!!! well on that note i will go and good night.

Well this is it, my last day of peacefullness. My two older hoolagins come home tomorrow!!!:) Loagin has been so great this week. He has ohhh sooo loved the attention of being an only child for a full 4 days now. I think sometimes he wants to be an only child. I am going to go get the other two and go swimming with them before we come home. I hope they had a good time because school is fixin to start and it will probably be a while before they get to go to Grandmas again. :( They will survive though. We have been cleaning our apt all week, we have the family from kansas coming down to stay with us, Tanner who is a little older than easton but yet they are so much alike is coming and i know that Easton is soooooo excited about that, he also has a baby sister that is loagins age but i think addy will have much fun with her. They are gonna stay here with us so it should be intresting. I am so tired of cleaning but it seems to be a never ending job around here. even with only one child i think he makes just as big a mess as all three of them together. well i guess i will end on that note and finish cleaning my livingroom before the company comes tomorrow.

Well today we stayed home. Yestarday the kids and i took the trip to my moms house. Latisha Dedra and Marissa as well as Sally, Chris, Aiden and Brianna came over to visit. I really enjoyed getting to see them.. I am pretty sure i have not seen sally except a couple of times right after we graduated. It just seems like it has been forver. the kids played in the pool and i think chris enjoyed it the most:) of the 3 hours they were there i think he got out of the pool only twice. that boy loves the water. but i hope they enjoyed it . i know the fun kinda went down hill, when loagin fell off the deck but hes fine. Acts normal eats and most of all still throws his fits when hes mad. He just scratched his head a little and i think it just scared him falling that far. No broken bones YET!!!:) How i have acomplished that i am not sure. My kids are not really the safest:) But i hope everyone had a good time and i just wanted to let them know i enjoyed the time i got to spend with them. On a good note i left the two older kids at moms. right now loagin is napping and its so peaceful and quiet her in our little bitty apt. I only have 4 more days and i am sooooooo loving it. Better soak it up while i can:)

Well like latisha today has not been my day. I of course thought this was Monday so you can see how baaaad my kids have me screwed up. John decides hes gonna go play golf after he gets off work and i unfortunantley have been cooped up in our 1000 sq. ft apt all day with the three hooligans. Not a good day. The fighting well its no better than it was last week. Of course if i do decide to take them somewhere they try to be good. But that never ends up working for them. Today we tackled Target while john was at work this evening. Yeah he worked then Golfed then they went back to work. He seems to think that he can just pick up and go golf or hit little white balls into the open field, whenever he pleases as i just have to sit on my already "fat" butt at home. Not gonna loose weight with no help from him. Not like he dont need to loose a few pounds here and there as well. I hate being overweight and its starting to really weigh on me and bring me down. I however am glad to say that i have been the same and i mean the exact same since i had loagin almost two years ago. I dont know how but i have not lost nor gained and its unreal to me. But its starting to get on my nerves. Of course its not nice to tell people they are fat but it seems to me that easton has learned to say "Mom your fat and daddys not." Dont know who would have coached him on that one. LOL I know he dont mean anything by it cuz he hears john and i joke with each other but it brings me back to reality. And then theres the traffic up here. That has really begun to make me sooooo mad. I hate even going down the road to the Post Office. I can never go by stamps that of course would take at least an hour. we have a machine in our PO but it never works. Maybe because all of the people who cant read or speak english dont know what to do and they screw it up. Yes i think thats the whole problem with this "at one time not so crowded of a town" sprindale, there are a few to many hispanics here that just need to return home. Anyway on a good note once again only 5 more days until i am 2 less kids. Woo Hoo

well today is now Monday. The worst day of the week for me cuz it seems like the longest. However maybe since we have a t*ball game tonight it wont be to bad. Yeah right. like i could get that lucky. My kids cant seem to go for like 5 minutes without starting in their fighting with each other. I never imagined having kids like that. i had always hoped for the good kids. man was i way off. Mine just seem to get worse with the age. I am not real sure if anyone else has the same problem. I am sure you with boys have some fights but i think its even worse when you throw a girl in the mix. she seems to be the whiney one and i am just almost to the nervous breakdown point if i have to hear that whiney, crybaby voice anymore. For the most part we had a pretty good weekend. Took the kids to the Lake on Saturday and went swimming with them. Today we took them across the street and let them ride their scooters. They enjoyed that, well they did until Addy started with the whinyness once again because it was HOT outside. She is not used to the heat i guess. Well I only have to tough it our for about ohhh lets see 6 more days and then the 2 older ones are going to grandmas house for a week of VBS. I am in need of a break. I was telling tish that i have only been kid free 2 times in the last 7 years and i am soon to make it 3 that is just not enough breaks for me. I could use a couple more sometimes it seems. But on a good note. only 4 more weeks til school starts back woo hoo!!!!! i am so excited and i dont even go to school.:) well hope everyone has a great week. talk to you all later

Well today is almost Wed. Lets see it rained most of the day here. So unfortunatley the kids and I stayed home all day. John however went to drive golf balls into the wide open with his boss. That would be a good thing for most people to be buddies with their boss. However in this case John and his boss have been friends since high school. So they have always been chummy with each other. We got to go to the wonderful world of Tball where my daughter, (one of the only two girls on the team) seems to enjoy playing in the dirt. If i had known weeks ago she just wanted to play in the dirt I could have saved my $40.00 and just gotten her some dirt. I dont really think she likes tball. Next year will be eastons year to play so she will just sit that one out. Well we finally lost tooth #4 the second one on the top. She has a really big gap there now. She knocked the other one out with her brothers forehead and still doesnt have one grown back in. You can only imagine how goofy that looks. well not a whole lot happened today. Tomorrow is library day for me and the kids so that should be fun, for them anyway. Oh and yes JEN i think i have some of the same outlooks on driving as you. I hate driving in the rain b/c of the big rigs and well i dont really have the 3 lanes of traffic but i do have all the mexicans that dont know how to drive here and that seems to put me in the wrong mood. I think they should have to be able to speak our language and have a valid DL if they want a vehicle. Upsets me dearly. well i will go on that note. later

The Fourth is over
Well today is the 5th and the 4th was quite an eventful one for us. We spent this year with mom. I have never spent the 4th with her in the past 21 years so it was time. The kids had been down there since Monday. They love going to grandma tonyas house. When we got there it was so nice outside. The sun was out and PERFECT for swimming. I was so glad it was warm. John actually went down there with us this time as well. We actually shot the fireworks at Todd and Angie Micheals house, thats also where we ate. Grilled burgers and all the good fixins that go with it. Yummy!!!! No one got hurt which was a plus. Loagin did really well to with the noise. we werent sure how he would react to them since he was so little last year. I was very pleased with all of my kids.They behaved fairly well for having no naps that day. I hope everyone else had a GREAT Fourth and a safe one.

ALMOST THE 4TH

Well its almost the 4th. Today has been a pretty boring day around our house. Loagin and i stayed home all day. We played trucks and cars and also we fixed our computer. We had router issues but finally we got them resolved. He was such a big help turning the computer on and off as he likes to do, but he only likes to do it as it is not needed to be done at the time. We are now watching Joel Osteen hes a wonderful preacher, however at the moment his wife is the one doing the preaching but i enjoy watching either of them. They seem to make it enjoyable to hear the word of God and i for one can understand him a little better than some of the others. We went outside for a bit to watch some of the other kids shooting off their fireworks. Mostly to see how Loagin is going to do tomorrow. He didnt cry so i guess thats a good thing. I sure hope so. This will be his first fourth that he can actually enjoy it. He was a little to young last year (only 7 months old). Well that is about all for today i just thought i would write a little i hope you all have a Safe and Happy 4th of July. God Bless and Take care.

rain rain and more rain
Okay well today is july the 2nd and it has just been a really gloomy day here in the big ol town of springdale. I think it has rained for most of the day. I only got to look out the window a couple of times and it was not. I would like to say that reading all of jens blogs has really inspired me to write. i have always wanted to keep a journal but never found the inspiration to do so. So i would like to say thanks Jen. You are truly my inspiration now. I know that i have lost touch with most of my old friends and honestly i don't have any here. i have lived here for almost 8 years now and i think the only people i know now that i didn't know then are my inlaws. Pretty sad huh. I think my kids have more friends than me. Actually i know they do. I don't mind though. As long as i have my kids and my John to talk to i get along okay. I have recently started talking to Latisha again and i am so thankful for her. She has brightened up my life alot in the past few months. I feel like i really have a friend that i have always had. I know that any time i would like i could call darla, but now that shes found her a man i prefer to let her be with him and not bother her with my issues of being a stressed out mom. seems like i am only stressed bc school is out and all 3 of my children are home. They do okay but Addy seems to be the bossy one. She likes to think she can just tell Easton what to do. And of course he wont take any bull from her. Loagin well he's still a little bit of a crybaby. i mean i guess he can be he's only 18 months now and he seems to be getting bigger every day. I saw my mom today, she brought addy and easton back from her house but then she took them back. addy had a tball game but unfortunately it got rained out. so we will be going down there for the fourth and then they will come back home. well i guess i will leave on that note. now that i have peace and quite i just like to watch tv and enjoy this time to myself to recoup from my days of kids and toys.

One Boring Day:)

Well today is June 26th 2007. we didnt do much today, we went to the library and had storytime with Mrs. Judy that is our regular wednesday activity. Then we went to my aunts house to let the kids play. they enjoyed that. they got to play outside on the trampolene for a bit. We came home around 3 and then it started to just pour down raining. seems to be doing that alot here lately. I got me a new laptop. I love it. Its like the best thing in the world and i am not a internet addict but i do love to take pics of my kids and send them to people so i really enjoy being able to just sit in the livingroom or in the bed and just send my kids away to all their family memebers. My husband didnt really think we needed one but now that we have one i dont think he would trade it in for anything. He loves it to. well i hope everyone had a very funfilled day today and i will write more later. Love you all
